Rubis phase 2 engineering completed

For Rubis Terminal in Rotterdam we are completing the detail engineering of phase 2.

An expansion that will eventually result in almost 150,000 cubic meters in total of extra storage capacity. In this phase, fifteen new tanks will be built, accounting for 31,500 cubic metres. The company is also realising a double truck loading station and an extra berth for inland vessels.

In this second phase of the expansion, Rubis will build nine stainless steel heated tanks of 1,500 cubic metres and six stainless steel tanks of 3,000 cubic metres. The new tanks are suitable for specialty chemicals. These are high maintenance products ( products difficult to store) that need to be heated, for example, or that cannot be stored in a mild steel tank.
