Job

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced QHSE Lead with specific experience in Hydrogen Projects.


The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE) program for our hydrogen projects. They will work closely with the project team, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that all QHSE activities are in line with project goals, regulations, and best practices.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Develop, implement, and manage the QHSE program for hydrogen projects, including policies, procedures, and training programs.

  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, industry standards, and best practices for quality, health, safety, and environment.

  • Collaborate with the project team to identify and mitigate QHSE risks, hazards and ensure that all work is performed safely and in accordance with established procedures.

  • Conduct QHSE audits and inspections to ensure that contractors and suppliers are complying with QHSE requirements and best practices.

  • Investigate incidents and accidents to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.

  • Monitor QHSE performance metrics and report to project management and other stakeholders.

  • Communicate with regulators, customers, and other stakeholders regarding QHSE matters, including permit applications and compliance reporting.

  • Ensure that QHSE considerations are integrated into project planning, design, construction, and operation phases.

  • Support the development and implementation of emergency response plans and procedures.

Job Requirements


  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in QHSE, with specific experience in hydrogen projects.

  • Strong knowledge of QHSE regulations, industry standards, and best practices.

  • Experience with QHSE management systems and auditing.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks and hazards

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.

  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously

  • Proficiency in QHSE software and systems.
