Our Client is an independent system integrator serving the global Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, LNG and Food & Feed market with high-end analyzing, sampling, testing and desuperheating solutions.

We take care of the whole process from basic and detailed design, procurement, to assembly and final system integration on site.

Currently employs around 300 people across five autonomous businesses. Each of these deliver specific technical engineered products and services in their respective fields and markets, from different locations in The Netherlands, France, Africa, Middle East and the Far East.

Job

Designing block diagrams, one-line diagrams, electrical wiring diagrams, instrument loop diagrams and cable lists in close cooperation with an E&I Design Engineer;

Designing cause and effect diagrams and PLC I/O lists of various manufacturers often including data communication (e.g. fiber optic, Modbus and Profibus).

Performing calculations on cables, cabinet heat load (dissipation), power consumption, among others;

Writing specifications for i.e. (ATEX) control cabinets, power distribution panels and process instrumentation;

Selecting electrical and instrumentation components according project requirements, budget and, if applicable, ATEX requirements;

Working together with various disciplines such as Mechanical, Control & Automation and Process Engineering, sharing and transferring information to ensure that the technical design is conform the project specifications.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, starters and candidates with MBO-3 and relevant working experience are invited to apply to this vacancy as well;

Familiarity with: ATEX, ISA 88, NEN1010 / IEC60364 and other relevant standards;

Experience with AutoCAD (Electrical), strong knowledge of MS Office;

Broad technical interest, also in other disciplines;

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English;

Proactive, team player, enterprising and analytical;

Demonstrate cost awareness, work in a structured and accurate way;

Flexible to travel to projects globally (short trips up to 10% of time).
