Job

We are seeking a highly experienced Commissioning Manager with proven expertise in leading and managing the commissioning of large-scale hydrogen projects.


The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the commissioning of hydrogen production, storage, and distribution facilities, ensuring that the systems are fully operational and meet project specifications.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Plan, coordinate, and execute the commissioning of hydrogen production, storage, and distribution facilities, ensuring that all systems are fully operational and meet project specifications.

  • Develop and maintain commissioning procedures and documentation, including test plans, checklists, and reports.

  • Manage and lead the commissioning team, providing guidance and direction to ensure that all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

  • Liaise with project management, engineering, and construction teams to ensure that commissioning activities are integrated into the project schedule and that commissioning requirements are properly communicated and understood.

  • Work closely with operations and maintenance teams to ensure a smooth transition from commissioning to operations, providing training and support as required

  • Identify and resolve commissioning issues, working with stakeholders to ensure that any delays or issues are addressed promptly and effectively.

  • Monitor progress against the commissioning plan, identifying any potential issues or delays and taking corrective action as required.

  • Ensure that all commissioning activities are carried out in accordance with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Job Requirements


  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.

  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in commissioning large-scale industrial projects, with specific experience in hydrogen production, storage, and distribution facilities.

  • Strong understanding of hydrogen production, storage, and distribution technologies, including safety protocols and procedures.

  • Proven leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team of technical professionals.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues.

  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.

  • Knowledge of relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards.
